Lucy S 2 Seater Settee Extreme

Designed alongside one of the UK’s largest mental health trusts to meet their exact needs for their high level secure mental hospital, the Lucy S range provides a safe, robust and practical seating solution.

Knightsbridge’s in-house research and development team identified areas which may be liable to abuse by service users and re-engineered them to provide additional support. This included a 18mm carcase and underbottom, and redesign of the base to eliminate feet. Essential anti-ligature features were taken into consideration during the redesign with all gaps between seat and arms, seat and back removed, and no visible staples or fittings. Keeping asthetics in mind, the range has a domestic style which includes a mock seat cushion.

To provide a functional family of products, the Lucy S range is available as an armchair, 2 seater settee and 3 seater settee  to be used in a variety of areas including lounges, bedrooms, quiet rooms and reception areas.
