A Strong Start to 2026
Knightsbridge Furniture has undergone a strong start to 2026. We invite you to read about some of our key focuses so far this year.
The Leybourne Group
As part of The Leybourne Group’s ongoing expansion in the health sector, we are pleased to announce the acquisition of Knightsbridge Furniture. This acquisition brings additional manufacturing and production strength to The Leybourne Group. Going forwards this will allow the group to consolidate their position in healthcare markets. In tandem with this came the acknowledgement of Knightsbridge Furniture’s new, Michigan-based US branch. We hope to expand the availability of Knightsbridge Furniture’s signature furniture.
See the official statement from the Leybourne group below.
Key Trends for 2026
Here at Knightsbridge, we design furniture that’s truly fit for purpose. While trends may change, one thing never changes – the quality of our pieces.
Below are a few key trends for 2026.
- Biophilic Design – Bringing the indoors in, natural elements have been incorporated into designs for some years but will continue to rise with benefiting experiences.
- Textures & patterns – To complement neutral colour palettes, we’re seeing a rise in statement textures being incorporated, particularly with fabrics for furniture pieces.
- Modular Layouts – Being able to adapt to guest needs is essential and the rise of modular furniture and layouts give hospitality spaces that flexibility it requires.
Emphasising Furniture for Everyone
Designing inclusive spaces has always been a priority for us. Our in-house design team combines industry expertise with user-focused research to create furniture that truly meets the needs of everyone.
When designing inclusive environments, we focus on three key considerations:
- Layout – Furniture should support accessibility while remaining flexible and easy to reconfigure.
- Adjustability – Pieces that cater to different sizes and mobility needs help create more inclusive spaces.
- Fabric – Softer materials can reduce sensory overstimulation and enhance comfort.
