Introducing Knightsbridge Furniture’s latest addition
Leading furniture manufacturer, Knightsbridge, has recently unveiled its newest range in collaboration with designer and founder of Assemblyroom, Peter Wall.
A luxurious design, the Paxton range has been crafted to bring a classic and elegant feel to the interiors of the hospitality sector. Within his work, Peter aims to achieve designs that reflect a timeless quality and an understated familiarity, an ethos that resonates with Knightsbridge Furniture and results in pieces created with the end users, and potential settings, in mind.
Consisting of an armchair and two and three seater sofas, the Paxton collection is versatile to any space and provides a stylish, yet practical look that will elevate any room. Created specifically to be suitable for a whole range of different environments, the Paxton is adaptable with a neat footprint and compact design. Pairing the armchair with the sofa, creates a sophisticated yet homely atmosphere, and the slim, wooden legs add a natural feel.
Throughout the design process, Peter Wall worked very closely with the Director of Design and Development at Knightsbridge, Jason Brown, to create the timeless and elegant range. With its sleek and simple design, the Paxton range imitates a stylish, yet cosy feel for guests to enjoy.
Speaking on the collaboration, Peter said: “Modern but familiar, the Paxton range is a classic collection that comprises an armchair, a 2 seater and a 3 seater sofa. The design of the Paxton draws its influence from 1950s utilitarian design and offers a refined chair that is both comfortable and timeless. Working closely with Jason we retained the design and adapted the range to suit Knightsbridge’s requirements, a seamless process that was a joy to be involved in.”
Jason Brown said: “Working with Peter is always a pleasure, and collaborating on the Paxton project has been a great process. The seating is ideal for welcoming lobby settings, comfortable breakout areas and more – we’re looking forward to seeing it in situ!”
