Knightsbridge Furniture awarded SIT Furniture Design Award for Tron Collection

Leading furniture manufacturer, Knightsbridge, has been awarded the ‘Winner in Armchair’ at the SIT Furniture Design Awards, for its collection, Tron. The SIT Furniture Design Awards celebrate the very best in furniture and interior design and applaud the creativity and innovation in the furniture design community, across the world.

Brought to market in collaboration with established furniture designer and TV personality, Bruce Kenneth, the Tron collection is a striking collection of tables and chairs expertly manufactured for the healthcare industry, as well as domestic, workplace and hospitality settings.

The strong design signature of Tron sets it apart from other contract furniture collections currently on the market. The striking angular sections bring flavours of the curvilinear shapes seen in the Art Nouveau period. A feature which reflected in furniture pieces created throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Moreover, this element of old meets new offers a compelling balance when setting Tron within a modern setting. Allowing the range to retain its unique look and feel while fitting seamlessly within a modern office or opulent hospitality interior. All chairs and tables are available in solid beech or oak, with a complimentary outdoor range to match in Iroko.

Jason Brown, Director of Design and Development, comments

“We’re thrilled to have won this prestigious award! Here at Knightsbridge, we’re committed to designing products to meet the requirements of all markets and like all of our products, Tron was fully designed, developed and manufactured in our Bradford-based factory. We’re so proud to have been recognised on a global level.”
